The spiritual life of the Grade 11* listed church having been revived by the arrival of a congregation from the evangelical Holy Trinity Brompton, it fell to RGA to revive and expand the fabric. Having done repairs, the architects then proposed a new church to the west of the existing one.
Externally the building references its listed neighbour, but is not deferential to it. Internally an in-situ concrete frame is exposed throughout, a flush glazed slot in the atrium provides light to the basement.
