Maggie’s Centres have become synonymous with architectural virtuosity. Page/Park have broken the mould: the plain plywood interior opens up in a series of surprisingly large rooms which climb into the spiral, creating a series of discrete but linked spaces.
 
This little building is an extraordinary miniature monument that contrasts with the prosaic background of a conventional hospital complex.
