This is a highly sculptural building, finished (appropriately for a building handling aircraft) in aluminium shingles – a system that copes well with the dynamic form.
 
The architects have managed to create an innovative and high-end building without a high-end budget - the project was delivered through a design and build route and is none the worse for it.
