In this project, the architects have engaged with the site’s unique historic setting in Swansea’s docks, retaining the warehouse as series of controlled exhibition spaces.
 
In contrast, a new open gallery building follows the arc of the original railway tracks in a series of interlocking stages. New and old are linked seamlessly by a foyer space.
