Easily the most striking building in Watford and almost the only piece of really good modern architecture. This very hard working and complex building projects from its glass bank like a pier into the sea with luminous glass cladding pushing out towards the main road. Internally all is daylight – including a beautiful top light over the main performance space. Internal spaces all connect to a glazed cone and the muted noise of music is everywhere.
