This housing complex sits perched above Peckham Rye providing spectacular views for its ingenious duplex apartments. It is a handsome black building, creating 17 relatively modest sized 2 storey maisonettes with car parking tucked into the slope of the site underneath the building.

The architect was both developer and main contractor yet there was no sacrifice of quality. The gabion wall surrounding the car parking allowed diffuse light into the car park without sacrificing security. Internally, although may of the duplexes were only around 70 square metres, they were cleverly arranged to create a feeling of spaciousness and 3D complexity.
