The Tower sits on a challenging triangular postage stamp of a site and is shaped in section with protruding penthouse levels forming a proper top. The main body of the tower drops straight into the sloping pavement on its glassy side and creates a dramatic transition for passers-by. This is heightened by the transparency of the foyers and social spaces at ground level. The genius of the piece is the feeling of generosity when you walk inside.

Interior and exterior work ‘seamlessly’ as a design idea. Ideas on colouring and detail are plentiful in both the hotel and residential. A variety of apartment types enjoy spectacular views beyond the city edge, and the naturally ventilated winter gardens allow an ‘alfresco’ character to the living areas.
