Entry for the 2008 Awards is now closed.

The RIBA special awards are chosen from RIBA Award winners. They are judged by panels which include specialist judges in various fields who visit the shortlisted buildings. These awards reflect the diversity of architecture and reward the wide variety of specialist skills involved in delivering good buildings.

The special awards are:

• The Stephen Lawrence Prize
• The Crown Estate Conservation Award
• RIBA Sustainability Award
• RIBA Schools Award
• RIBA CABE Public Space Award
