CPD is an obligation for chartered members of the RIBA: 35 hours and 100 points per year.
 
Since members work in architectural practices and other businesses it is sensible for the practices to think about and account for CPD too. If a practice is registered with the RIBA, then it will have signed a declaration that it has a CPD management system in place.
