Door closers cause difficulties in care homes for residents and staff. To date the wedging open of fire doors has been a serious issue. Recent legislation has changed the requirements and now promotes other door closing systems for use in the care industry. This presentation/seminar examines the issues, solutions and risks to ensure the delegate is conversant with the type of systems available and required in a care environment. The seminar consists of a presentation augmented by a video and practical demonstration of equipment in operation.
