- Modern facades are becoming more complex and are combing different types of cladding. There is a need for a more detailed, structured and collaborative approach to rainscreen cladding support systems specification, procurement and installation. - Fluent communications between the Architect, specialist cladding contractor and the material and rainscreen support systems manufacturers is crucial. It’s a serious business and support systems need to be ‘fit for purpose’. - In this module, we discuss what needs to be considered to realise a safe and optimum support structure, and presents an approach that takes into account both the specifier’s and the installer’s needs.
