Health and safety: 2 hours per year minimum
Health and safety matters are integral to every part of the design process. There are various elements to the healthand safety requirements that you might consider:

pertinent construction safety legislation and building regulations for which the architect is responsible

workplace health and safety including safety on construction sites

CDM and other local legislative requirements
-
risk assessment
-
post-occupancy health and safety
-
attaining the CSCS qualification in the UK.
Please note that two hours is a minimum. It is expected there are many circumstances in which you ought to aim to achieve much more than two hours in this area.
Some examples would be:

anyone with planning safety responsibility
-
when any changes to relevant legislation comes into force – eg, changes to the CDM regulations
-
anyone trying to obtain the CSCS professional visitor’s card.
