Be part of the vision; be part of the RIBA.
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) champions better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and its members. With over 40,000 members worldwide, the RIBA has led the profession since its foundation in 1834, and continues to lead as architects face the challenges of the 21st century.
If you have plenty of administration experience, this could be the ideal role for you. We are currently looking for an organised individual to provide administrative support to our Head of CPD Policy and the Practice & Professional Communities Manager within the RIBA Practice Department.
This is a wide-ranging role where you will be involved in the daily arrangement of meetings for CPD clients, booking in educational assessors and dealing with CPD enquiries. And it doesn't stop there! You will be responsible for updating our CRM databases, including pages on the RIBA website (training will be provided), as well as keeping up-to-date records in respect of all aspects of our CPD function, including our helpdesk and aspects of finance.
Database management experience is a must, along with the ability to use MS Office applications with confidence. Experience of financial administration procedures coupled with the ability to produce minutes and meeting notes are key attributes for the role. Educated to at least A level or possessing equivalent professional experience, you will need a flexible approach as the role requires some travel and work outside London, as well as facilitating events and member meetings. If you have a genuine interest in architecture and the built environment, so much the better!
Are you keen to join a progressive, well-respected membership organisation? Then the RIBA could be the place for you.
