The Royal Society of Architects in Wales (RSAW) is part of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) which champions better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and its members. The RSAW is the voice for architects and architecture in Wales. Operating from our base in central Cardiff, and with a newly appointed Director, our small administrative team provides an extensive programme of activities for over 700 members and promotes architecture through public and specialist events.
You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of RSAW’s two annual conferences and our main CPD programme in Cardiff as well as other events and specialist courses across Wales. You will play a key role in building relationships with external organisations, RIBA/RSAW members and colleagues in RIBA Head Office (London) and the English regions. Some travel, mostly in Wales, will be a requirement of the role.
A confident, self-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills, you'll be used to working in a small, dynamic team and preferably have knowledge of working in partnership with like-minded organisations, managing events, project budgets and fundraising.
