The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) champions better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and its members. A full-time position is available with the RIBA Yorkshire team based in Leeds. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of a programme of CPD and other professional training events and a programme of events such as conferences, exhibitions and awards for architects and co-professionals to meet, share knowledge, expertise and to network with each other. You will ensure the success of these programmes through the implementation of a communications strategy and where appropriate an income generation strategy.
A confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills, you'll be used to working in a small, dynamic team and preferably have knowledge of working in partnership with like-minded organisations, managing events, project budgets and fundraising. An understanding of the practice of architecture and the training needs of architects would be desirable.
