The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) champions better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and its members. With a passion to promote a wider public appetite and interest in architecture through its website, exhibitions, talks and four-million-strong collections, the RIBA has led the profession since its foundation in 1834, and continues to lead as architects face the challenges of the 21st century.
Developing a coherent and effective programme of education, support and influence for clients of architecture is a strategic priority for the RIBA. The RIBA is establishing itself as the first port of call for clients to gain advice and find the right architect and design solution. We are now seeking a confident, proactive, results-driven Head of Client Services to develop and implement the 'RIBA for Clients' programme.
You will have overall responsibility for the development and delivery of the RIBA’s services for clients and for leading the Client Services team in London and the RIBA Competitions team in Leeds. Working closely with the RIBA's new client forum and the Executive Director of Membership & Profession, you will develop and implement effective strategies to stimulate demand for architecture that delivers economic, social and environmental value.
Qualified to degree level, or with relevant professional experience, you must have commercial and marketing experience in a customer services environment with excellent communication, organisational and marketing skills. If you have a background with membership organisations and an understanding of or passion for architecture, would be desirable.
