The role of Project Coordinator supports activities across the RIBA Education department, managing relationships the RIBA has with schools of architecture in the UK and overseas. The role holder will contribute to making arrangements for candidate events for the Office-Based Examination (the RIBA's own award at parts 1 and 2), visiting UK schools of architecture to discuss RIBA member benefits, and taking part in full visiting boards to validate schools of architecture in the UK, and - potentially - schools located outside the UK. The role holder will act as secretary to these boards, writing comprehensive reports of the visits.
Working with Membership colleagues, the role holder will also develop online application procedures for architects educated and registered outside the UK, but wishing to become RIBA chartered members.
Reporting to the Director of Education, the Projects Coordinator works as part of a team of 10 based at 77 Portland Place.
