A grant of £10,000 is available to academics and architects committed to the process of teaching and learning Health and Safety in Schools of Architecture.
The RIBA has partnered with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to create a funding scheme to research how Health and Safety is currently being taught in Schools of Architecture in the United Kingdom.
The aim of the research is to develop a better understanding of the quality and variability of undergraduate training in relation to the designer’s role in eliminating health and safety risks and to point at improvements.
