RIBA President Angela Brady hosted a Summer Party on 28 June to raise funds for the RIBA Education Fund. The evening, which included a fundraising auction presented by Adrian Biddell from Sotheby's, raised over £16,000 for the RIBA Education Fund.
Speaking about the RIBA's education trust funds and supporting students, RIBA President Angela Brady said:
'The profession needs to step up to nurture and support those in financial need; we want a meritocratic future for architects where a diverse and highly skilled future generation can compete and shine on a global level. Now more than ever the RIBA's programme of education trust funds and awards needs support from those in the profession to achieve this goal.'
