Architects in Residence is essentially a partnership programme between a teacher/school and an architect/practice. Key to this partnership is the Architects in Residence Handbook for preparing a built environment project in the classroom:
The organisation of each project generally starts with a school expressing interest. If you are a teacher who would like to run a project, please contact the relevant regional RIBA office. They will ask architecture practices local to your school if they are interested and able also to take part, and put the two of you in touch.
Please note that we cannot always guarantee we will succeed in making a match between school and architect, though we will do our best.
