Committee and manifesto
Purpose and membership
The Sustainable Futures group exists to relate sustainability to the profession and to inform members of the development of RIBA policy, educational and professional standards and practical services to promote sustainable design.
The current committee is made up of invited experts on sustainable construction, principally architects with track records in the delivery of projects at the forefront of sustainable design but, appropriately, also from related professions, research and academic backgrounds.
The
Sustainable Architecture pages|, an initiative of the Sustainable Futures committee sponsored by the
Carbon Trust|, provide architects with the inspiration and practical tools to practice sustainable architecture.
