RIBA Retired Chartered Membership – why join?

Your status as an RIBA Retired Chartered Member is acknowledgement that you have completed a career in architecture and hold a lifetime of expertise in this field. You can continue to access a wide range of benefits and services including continued use of the ‘RIBA’ affix after your name.

RIBA Retired Chartered Membership means, as a fully retired architect, you can retain your status as an RIBA Member without having to be ARB registered, maintain your Personal Indemnity Insurance (PII) or your Continual Professional Development (CPD).

Based overseas?

The RIBA provides support and services to members located all over the world. If you are based overseas, you can enjoy the benefits of RIBA Retired Chartered Membership at a reduced subscription rate.

RIBA Retired Chartered Membership will enable you to stay in touch with the architectural profession and remain part of a dynamic institute recognised the world over on a reduced subscription fee to that of RIBA Chartered Membership.
