The RIBA Library aims to collect the major architectural journals from all over the world, whether these are commercial, official or academic publications. Current holdings include full sets of Architectural Review, The Builder, the RIBA Journal and Country Life. Around 2,000 titles are held (in the Books and Periodicals Collection), over 600 are current journals. They can be accessed by
visiting| the Library, while some are available freely as
e-journals|.

We aim to reflect the full range of journals published within the UK. For journals published outside the UK, we subscribe to representative examples in as many languages and from as many countries of the world as is feasible.
Photocopying
We are able to supply
photocopies| of articles from the majority of titles held, subject to current copyright legislation and conservation requirements.
Cataloguing
The Library has been indexing articles since the early 1900s. Many of these records are searchable on our
online catalogue| and
published| as the API: Architectural Publications Index.
