This exhibition comes in the year of the quincentenary of Andrea Palladio's birth. It is a major exhibtion looking at the life and works of one of the most important architects of the renaissance period. The RIBA are contributing over 60 objects to the exhibtion and are the major lenders. The exhibition has begun the final stages of its tour with two venues in Spain.

This exhibition explores the role played by technology in creating Post-war Britain. The RIBA lent a model of Keeling House by Denys Lasdun.

The RIBA lent four drawings to this exhibition co-organised by Leighton House at the Museum Villa Stuck, the house of the artist prince Franz von Stuck in Munich.

Surreal Things
Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, 9 May 2009 - 13 September 2009
The major exhibition on Surrealism organised by the V&A goes on tour to Canada. The RIBA is lending three new objects to the tour, including this photograph with an overdrawn design for the caryatids at the Pantheon, West Dean.
Borrowing from the RIBA
The RIBA considers sympathetically all requests for loans but as a Designated Collection (MLA), we can only lend to institutions that meet the required conditions of security and environment set out in the Conditions of Loan.

All loans are subjected to a loan fee of £410. This is to cover administration costs, conservation, mounting and framing of objects.
