The Education Room is a flexible teaching and learning space that can transform from a seminar room to a state-of-the-art studio. It is located next to the Library's Reading Room and can accommodate up to 25 people. The Education Room has wi-fi access and a plasma screen suitable for presentations.

Booking

Booking is essential and should be made at least two weeks in advance with the Education Curator. Groups are accommodated during library opening hours, although arrangements for bookings outside these hours can be made upon request. Groups participating in Library education programmes use the Education Room free of charge. Charges for external and non-education bookings vary.

Please contact the Education and Outreach Manager to discuss your visit and book the room.

History

The Education Room opened in April 2007 with support from the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning through Design (CETLD). The furnishings were generously provided by Bene.
