This is one of the earliest mounted prints in English Heritage's Bedford Lemere & Co. Collection. It was taken for the furniture manufacturers Gillow & Co., with whom Bedford Lemere & Co. would have a long-standing association. The firm was given an honourable mention for the architectural photography that it showed in the 1878 Exposition Universelle.
