Three separate photographs were taken to create this panorama. Shot from the roof of Adelphi Terrace it looks across Embankment Gardens to the industrial south bank of the Thames and records a number of buildings now demolished. On the far left is Waterloo Bridge (demolished 1934) and on the right Hungerford Bridge and Charing Cross station. Westminster Bridge is visible on the far right.
