Bodley began the restoration of the nave and transepts of the chapel at Jesus College in 1863. This involved the installation of new ceilings, which at Bodley's suggestion were decorated in 1866-69 with paintings designed by Morris and Philip Webb. This sketch of Morris's proposal for the nave has numerous annotations, recording amendments by Bodley.
