Bodley and Garner's office was never large, but the pupils and assistants included a number of outstanding architects and designers. Some carried Bodley's distinctive style well into the 20th century, others rebelled against his aestheticism and indifference to Arts and Crafts values. Nonetheless, the Gothic Revival as shaped by Bodley remains a major element in the visual identity of the Anglican communion throughout the world.
