The interior of the beauty salon was designed in a minimal way, with chrome and glass fittings faintly reminiscent of hospital interiors. Goldfinger later said that the shopfitters, Frederick Sage & Company, who built the salon, thought he did not know how to draw. They added their own decoration to the drawings, which had to be altered once the mistake was realised.
