Paul and Marjorie Abbatt were admirers of modernist design and personal friends of Goldfinger. Their shop sold nursery furniture, children’s clothes, books and toys, some of it designed by Goldfinger. Although acclaimed as Goldfinger’s ‘most perfect pre-war work in England’, the shop has been demolished.
