Each balcony of this steel-frame building has a striking array of folding-sliding timber shutters. The shutters can be locally operated to provide enclosure, privacy and shading for the living spaces. The random opening and closing of the shutters results in an ever-changing pattern on the façade, created collaboratively by the residents within.
