Chinese Embassy, Portland Place, under demolition

The Chinese Embassy at 50 Portland Place was designed by the Adam brothers in about 1785. Demolished in 1980, the exterior has since been rebuilt in replica on the same site, which sits opposite the RIBA's own headquarters 66 Portland Place|.
