Victoria & Albert Museum| and the Royal Institute of British Architects provide study facilities and teaching rooms at the V&A, offering access to an outstanding resource of architectural material:

The collections available from the study rooms are the RIBA's collection of drawings and archives, and the V&A's collection of drawings, photographs and prints. The RIBA British Architectural Library's collections of books, periodicals and photographs are based at 66 Portland Place, London.
RIBA Architecture Study Rooms
Material from the
RIBA Library Drawings & Archives Collections| are accessible from the RIBA Architecture Study Rooms. They are open to adults and children alike. Specialists are on hand to assist individual researchers. Admission is free, but group visits must be booked three weeks in advance.
Retrieval times:
Retrieval of material from the stores is now operated on a timed system. Please arrive before these alloted times to avoid waiting for material. The collection times are as follows:

V&A prints and drawings can be viewed in the Prints & Drawings Study Room|.

Prints, Drawings and Architecture Education Room
A teaching room is available for use by groups. It can hold 12 seated visitors or 20-24 standing visitors for presentations without tables.

10am-5pm Tuesday - Friday. Advanced booking is essential.
