Shortlist announced - Lambeth ACCORD Competition
The RIBA is delighted to announce the shortlist in the competition to renovate and refurbish a disability hub on Brixton Road in London, managed by the Lambeth ACCORD Charitable Trust.
100 expressions of interest were received and eight practices were longlisted. From those eight, four have been shortlisted for the second stage design phase. Those teams are:

Ash Sakula
Buschow Henley
Houlton Architects with Pierre d'Avoine
John Jenner, RIBA Adviser said "Our aim to create a major centre in South London for a wide variety of disability groups and the surrounding local community is now under way, the judging panel were delighted by the profession's interest in this important competition and the quality of the competitors short listed."
The shortlisted designs will be submitted in early December with final presentations held on 10th December 2008 at Lambeth ACCORD.
