Worthing Swimming Pool
Shortlist Announced
A shortlist of six has been chosen from 109 expressions of interest, to go through to the design phase of the Worthing Swimming Pool competition.
They are :

Pringle Richards Sharratt, London
Ian Simpson Architects, London
Wilkinson Eyre Architects, London
The new Swimming pool will provide an 8 lane 25 metre pool, a combined learner/diving pool, indoor pools, with rapids and flumes, and outdoor leisure waters, a health and fitness centre, café, crèche and flexible space for other activities. The Council is keen 'to create a new swimming complex for Worthing which would be a first class leisure facility for the town. It should also be a landmark building demonstrating civic pride and status'.
The winner will be chosen following a final assessment which will take place on 25th June.
