The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) today announces the results of the RIBA Council elections 2010.

The following Chartered Members have been elected as National Council Members for a three-year term (2010–2013):

• Tony Lloyd
• Owen Luder
• Oliver Richards
• Nick Willson

The following Chartered Members have been elected as Regional Council Members for a three-year term (2010-2013):

• Jeremy Lander, RIBA East
• Francesca Weal, RIBA East
• Gordon Smith, Scotland North
• Sean Albuquerque, RIBA South East
• Karl Smith, RIBA South East
• Andrew Salter, RIBA South
• Warren Whyte, RIBA South
• Alan Jones, Ulster

Alex Scott-Whitby has been elected as a Student Member of Council, and he will serve a one-year term.

All Council appointments will commence from 1 September 2010.
