Manser Medal 2013

Manser Medal 2013

The winner of the RIBA Manser Medal 2013 is Slip House by Carl Turner Architects.

The objective of the RIBA Manser Medal has always been to encourage innovation in house design, to show how social and technological ambitions can be met by intelligent design and to produce exemplars to be taken up by the wider housebuilding industry. The prize is named after Michael Manser, former President of the RIBA, who is well known for his own steel and glass house designs.

The 2013 shortlist was judged by Michael Manser, Joe Morris of Duggan & Morris, Hugh Broughton of Broughton Architects, Caroline Cole and Tony Chapman, RIBA Head of Awards.
