The RIBA Client of the Year award 2012, sponsored by the Bloxham Charitable Trust, honours the key role that a good client plays in the creation of fine architecture.
The award was judged by the Chair of the RIBA's Awards Group, Deborah Saunt, Tom Bloxham MBE and Head of RIBA Awards, Tony Chapman. They consider clients of all RIBA Award winning schemes but take into account a track record of previous successful commissioning, particularly where this has led to earlier RIBA Awards.
The Olympic Delivery Authority was announced as the winner at the RIBA Stirling Dinner on 13 October 2012 in Manchester.
