The East Midlands region of the Royal Institute of British Architects comprises the counties of Leicestershire, Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, with a total of around 1,200 members and 190 practices of which 120 are Chartered Practices.
We work with our branches in these counties to help provide a point of contact for members and engagement with the public in the East Midlands. Our office is located in the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University's City site.

New RIBA CPD events have just been announced for May. RIBA's Core CPD Programme will help you stay up to date, to keep ahead, to be competitive, and to build your professional competence, as well as helping you to meet your CPD requirements.
New beer created to celebrate the life and achievements of Watson Fothergill, the Victorian architect of Nottingham in partnership with RIBA East Midlands and Experience Nottinghamshire.
RIBA East Midlands has now completed its first RIBA Student Mentoring Scheme with the University of Lincoln School of Architecture, which ran from November 2014 until February 2015.
Eleven buildings have been shortlisted for RIBA East Midlands 2015 Awards; the winners are due to be announced at an Awards evening at Leicester Cathedral on Wednesday 22 April.
RIBA East Midlands has moved its regional office from Lincoln to the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University's City site.
