The RIBA Library

Everyone is welcome to visit the British Architectural Library, learn from our collections and use our services. Admission is free. We also operate an enquiry service to answer any of your questions about architecture.

Visitor notice: No IT services at 66 Portland Place, Saturday 29 November 

Due to essential maintenance there will be no IT services at 66 Portland Place (including the Library's Reading Room) on Saturday 29 November 2014.

The Reading Room will remain open for reference and copying services but there will be no access to the internet or wi-fi, including the online catalogue. Also, our staff will not be able renew or issue books from the Loan Library. Before your visit, we recommend you search and print out references to material you wish to consult, as our staff will not be able to check on the day. 

We apologise for the inconvenience.
