RIBA conference

Venue

The conference will take place in the auditorium of the French Communist Party HQ, which is close the Gare du Nord station (when the Eurostar terminates). The building was designed by Oscar Niemeyer, who will be 100 later this year. It’s a rare privilege to use this facility and the main auditorium space is nothing short of breath taking.

Evening Receptions

In addition to the formal conference venue we will be staging two prestigious receptions – one at the new Cite de l’Architecture (close to the Eiffel Tower) and one at the Centre Pompidou (which is celebrating its 30th birthday in 2007).

On top of this, of course, there’ll be visits and tours to many of the most impressive buildings completed in and around the city. For more about these go to the Tours.
