The RIBA is creating a state of the art exhibition gallery at 66 Portland Place and revitalising its meeting and conference rooms. Opening in spring 2014, the new gallery will showcase our world-class collections, bringing some of the four million items to life through free exhibitions that explore the past, present and future of architecture.

To minimise disturbance to our visitors and guests during our building work, the first floor restaurant and cafe is closing on 1 June.

The ground floor café bar will be open serving an exciting take-away menu throughout our development work; a full programme of exhibitions, talks and events will continue throughout the summer 2013.
