Monthy Social - Thursday 27 February 2014

Our 2014 social gatherings will now take place on the last Thursday of every month.

Our first monthly social gathering of 2014 will take place at the Fringe Dairy, (ground floor) Central, HK.

Kung Hei Fat Choi! Come and join us to welcome in the Year of the Horse.

Committee members will be there from 6pm onwards.

Talk + Drinks with Hugh Broughton, designer of the 'Research Station for the British Antartic Survey'

The Hugh Broughton lecture will take place at Bespoke offices in Central, followed by an informal gathering at the Fringe Dairy (upstairs venue)

Title: Extreme Challenge: Creating Sustainable Architecture in the Polar Regions

Members are invited to a private guided tour to discover the design of the future M+ buidling by Herzog & de Meuron, with TFP Farrells and Ove Arup & Partners HK, and the debut of the museum's growing architure collection.

'Last Friday of the Month' Guest speaker Michael Morrison, Purcell @ the Fringe Vault

Come and join us for our monthly Social Gathering, with guest speaker Michael Morrison, Senior Partner at Purcell, who will give a talk on his work in Hong Kong, including the high profile Central Police Station conservation and revitalization project, with Herzog de Meuron.

International Conference on Heritage Conservation, 29 - 30 November 2013

RIBA members are invited to attend a Heritage Conservation Conference organised by the University of Hong Kong, HKSAR Government (dept of Architecture) and Commissioner for Heritage's Office.

The conference will provide the opportunity for international exchange amongst heritage conservation professionals from both the public and private sectors.
