Foreign architects may work only in joint venture with a Russian licensed architect. The Russian architect take the responsibility for the activities and in many cases has the leadership role. The relationship between a Russian and foreign architect should be determined by an agreement between them.

It will be necessary for foreign architects to register with the RALC and to obtain a temporary license to practice.
