Foreign architects are permitted practice independently in Slovakia.  Registration documents are available from the Slovak Chamber of Architects.

The following documents will be required:

- architectural degree from a recognised university
- proof of five year practical experience
- certificate of clean disciplinary/crime record
- certificate of passing the staff examination
- 2 references from architects
- CV and portfolio with 3 realisations in the applied category
