Monastic simplicity in plan and finishes characterise this renovation of a 19th century stable block. The rooms form a simple line of spaces with double-glazed steel windows in the living and dining areas opening up completely, baring the house to nature.

Due to its compactness of the plan and continuous south-facing double-glazed facades, underfloor heating and a single wood-burning stove are sufficient to heat the house.

White-emulsion-finished oak panels highlight their rough-sawn texture while creating the ethereal and puritanical ambience.
