Welcome to RIBA East

RIBA East comprises over 2,000 members and 250 registered practices across the six counties of:

  • Bedfordshire
  • Cambridgeshire
  • Essex
  • Hertfordshire
  • Norfolk
  • Suffolk

Our regional office exists to advance local architecture by demonstrating architecture's benefit to society, and promoting excellence in the profession. We provide high-quality support services for our members, clients, industry associates and the general public.

Whether you are a client looking for an architect, a student looking for careers advice or an architect looking to find out what's on where, we will point you in the right direction.

RIBA East news

Awards 
Nineteen buildings in the East Region have been shortlisted for a RIBA Regional Award 2013. The shortlisted buildings will be assessed by a regional jury and the winners of the RIBA Regional Awards and the RIBA National Awards will be announced on the evening of Wednesday 12 June 2013. Spring Architecture Talk
Alison Brooks talks about 'Obsessions and Translations' on Tuesday 30 April 2013. RIBA East, in partnership with the University of Cambridge is thrilled to be able to invite you to attend a public talk in Cambridge by Alison Brooks, 2012 winner of Architect of the Year Gold Award and 2012 Housing Architect of the Year Award. We're inviting those who recognise the value of great design to make a date to join us for a glass of wine with friends and discuss the importance of inspirational architecture with an architect who creates it. Love Architecture 2013
The national Love Architecture Festival returns to the East of England in 2013 bringing places and spaces to life through a range of inspiring events including walks, talks, tours, films, bike rides, competitions, exhibitions and family workshops.
