06 December 2012
6:00 PM - 7:45 PM
Venue:
Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Wilberforce Rd, Cambridge CB3 OWA
Description:
Russell Brown of Hawkins\Brown will examine this award-winning project, which demonstrates what can be achieved on a tight budget. A series of dormitory buildings, sharing vistas and green commons across the site, the use of diverse materials, need to connect with the existing buildings and the sensitivity of its rural setting result in a building which has been described as celebrating the spirit of education.
