Description:

This amazing building on the Suffolk coast was designed for Alain de Botton's Living Architecture. Designed by Jarmund Vigsnaes Architects and Mole Architects, it has won both an RIBA Award and RIBA East Client of the Year Award.

Meredith Bowles, founder and Director of Mole Architects, talks about the concepts behind Living Architecture, the Dune House, his ideas and the values that he considers when approaching a project. Meredith is particularly interested in making contemporary buildings appropriate for their location: 'A good building should lift one's spirits.'
